Sudhakar R. Jamkhandi

Dr. Sudhakar R. “Jammy” Jamkhandi. Professor of English; Program Advisor for the B.A. in International Studies; and Director of Bluefield State University’s Office of International Initiatives, Honors College, and Service-Learning. He has four decades of experience in international education, capacity and democratic institution building (including rule of law) for professionals from new democracies. With his guidance over four decades,  Bluefield State University has engaged in exporting ideas, the number one export of the USA, which earned the institution the  Export Achievement Award from the US Department of Commerce – International Trade Administration/US Commercial Services.

I am about to submit the proposal West Virginia Go Bragh! – a Developmental-Level Partnership project of Southern WVCTC and Bluefield State University which meets the primary goal of the West Virginia-Ireland Educational Alliance, viz, building workforce capabilities of West Virginians to participate knowledgeably in a globally interconnected world. This proposal has evolved since May 18. If we have Irish businesses in the state, please identify them. Encourage them to support WV HEIs that opt to participate in the West Virginia-Ireland Educational Alliance, an undertaking that complements the intent of the West Virginia Trade Commission.
