Larry Preiser

President, Preiser Scientific

Larry Preiser is President of Preiser Scientific, a family-owned scientific equipment company founded in 1924 that serves customers in more than 90 countries. He has more than 30 years of experience building and managing businesses in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Previously, Larry held senior executive positions with The Learning Company, Ordinate Corporation, and NetDimensions, with responsibility for international operations, sales, acquisitions, and business development. He spent four years in operating roles in London and Tokyo and holds a B.B.A. in International Business from the University of Texas at Austin.

Export Credentials

Larry has extensive hands-on experience developing international markets, establishing and managing overseas operations, and building global distribution networks. At The Learning Company, he helped grow the international business from $12 million to $120 million, managing operations across more than 30 countries and overseeing subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Throughout his career, he has negotiated international distribution, licensing, joint venture, and strategic partnership agreements. He has also worked closely with state export development offices and the U.S. Commercial Service to identify international opportunities, develop overseas relationships, and expand U.S. exports.

At Preiser Scientific, Larry has expanded international relationships with customers and partners and helped develop business in markets around the world. He has particular experience in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
