Hanna Kruhlova

International Trade Manager, WV Division of Economic Development - International

Hanna works with businesses across the state to expand into international markets and strengthen West Virginia’s global competitiveness. She supports export promotion initiatives by connecting companies with strategic resources, conducting international market research, coordinating trade events and business development programs, assisting with the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) Grant, and collaborating with state, federal, and international partners to create global opportunities for West Virginia companies.

Originally from Minsk, Belarus, Hanna attended West Virginia State University, where she competed as an NCAA Division II student-athlete, served as team captain, and graduated with honors with dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Finance and Information Management Systems. Her collegiate tennis career included multiple conference championships and two NCAA Division II Sweet 16 appearances.

Hanna is also actively involved in her community through Friends of Clay Center, supporting local arts and cultural initiatives and serving as Co-Chair of Carnaval 2027. She is passionate about international business, economic development, and creating opportunities that help businesses and communities succeed.
